BUK-OPS Primetime Range

BUK-OPS approached Centreline, looking to elevate the field of tactical optical gear by developing a trio of products designed around their innovative Primetime Colour Vision™ technology. Centreline was involved with the project from the Conceptual Design phase all the way through to designing and engineering the three products for manufacture. We created a cohesive design language for the family of products that, while versed-in existing styles, feels fresh and unique, showcasing rugged features paired with ergonomic surfacing to enhance the range both visually and functionally.


BUKNOCULARS : Primetime Binoculars

The design of the BUKNOCULARS utilises sleek, angular contours to offer a bold, modern aesthetic while ensuring a comfortable grip. The body features a knurled finish, adding both texture and tactile precision for enhanced handling, even in challenging conditions. Its ergonomic design is shaped to sit naturally in the hands, making extended use an effortless experience.

Engineered from the ground up

Centreline drew from our extensive engineering and manufacturing experience in consumer electronics to develop the product range from conception to being fully prepared for mass manufacture. Each design produced its own series of hurdles and challenges, which needed to be overcome by our team on the route to product delivery. As of early 2025 all three products have launched successfully, and are being sold worldwide.

CYCLOPTIC: Handheld Primetime Viewer

The Cycloptic viewer features an ergonomic form that blends angular lines with smooth curvature in a delightful, tactile interplay that invites it to be held. The product has a zoom range between 1-5X which can be discreetly adjusted with one hand, and also features a HD resolution display.

CYCLOPTIC-X: Primetime Crossbow Scope

Designed around BUK-OPS's new Primetime colour Vision™, and equipped with 4K, HD video recording, the Cycloptic-X advances far beyond traditional crossbow scopes. We paired this technology with a chiseled, dynamic form that ties in with the other products in the range while simultaneously carving out its own unique identity. Featuring a manual, 25mm focus lens, and the ability to zoom up to 5x, this scope demands attention on any crossbow, and firmly positions itself as a true market leading product.
