So you can get to know all of our incredible team here at Centreline. We're doing a series of employee spotlights, this week it’s the turn of Zak, who’s been with us for 3 years. Zak joined the team over 3 years ago as an apprentice designer, and now works as junior designer in the Nottingham studio.
What is your job role? In a nutshell what do you do?
I’m a product designer here at Centreline, day to day my role includes liaising with clients, design, engineering work, producing drawings and manufacturing packs and making/ assembling a lot of prototypes for testing.
What challenges you on a day to day basis?
Managing time efficiently to ensure that all projects keep moving and are completed by deadlines.
What’s the most useless/ interesting talent you have?
I can play sweet child o mine on guitar, with the guitar behind my head
Something new you’ve learned in the past month?.
I’ve recently been riding my bmx trying to learn new tricks, and trying to perfect the manual (holding a wheelie without turning the pedals).
What do you do when you’re not at work?
I spend a lot of time at the gym in the evenings lifting weights, but I still find time for riding my motorbike off road along with regularly going mountain biking.
