So you can get to know all of our incredible team here at Centreline. We’re doing a series of employee spotlights. This week it’s the turn of Isi, who joined us last month as part of a year-long internship. Isi is currently Studying Product Design and Manufacture at the University of Nottingham.
What is your job role? In a nutshell what do you do?
I’m a Product Design Intern at the Nottingham studio which entails working collaboratively on projects at all stages of the design process. There’s so much variety in what I do with some days spent sketching and CAD modelling whilst others are spent designing graphics.
What challenges you on a day to day basis?
Time management.
What’s the most useless/ interesting talent you have?
I know all the words and actions to the brick wall waterfall chant.
Something new you’ve learned in the past month?
I started wakeboarding in June and have since learnt how to do a jump start!
What do you do when you’re not at work?
Sing - especially jazz, soul and funk. I’m like a portable radio because I will just start singing in the most random of places, but my favourite thing about singing is definitely when I perform to an audience.
What I’ve learned during lockdown?
Learned that chocolate and lemon is a yummy cake combo when I accidentally mistook lemon extract for vanilla essence ...
